Unsung Heroes
The Unsung Heroes Award recognizes outstanding healthcare professionals whose dedication, compassion, and commitment make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families, and their colleagues. These individuals often work behind the scenes, going above and beyond in their roles without seeking recognition. By celebrating their contributions, the award shines a light on the everyday heroes whose care and service strengthen our healthcare system and inspire those around them.

UBC Mentorship Program
The Pooni Group Foundation UBC Athletics Mentorship Program connects UBC student-athletes with a network of professionals and alumni. Through mentorship, students gain guidance on leadership, career development, and life beyond sport, while mentors have the chance to inspire and give back. Contact us to become a mentor or mentee!

New West Police Department Soccer School
Pooni Group Foundation is proud to support the New Westminster Police Soccer School, a community program that helps children develop soccer skills, build confidence, and foster positive relationships with local police, first responders, and community partners. Through a week of sport, teamwork, and interactive activities, the program promotes healthy living, community connection, and positive youth engagement.

Past Programs
Children’s Food Programs
The Fernwood Neighbourhood Resource Group breakfast program and the Kolumbia Inn Daycare Society snack program were established to support the daily nutritional requirements of the children within these care centers. By ensuring food security for these young members of society, these initiatives supported healthy development, enabling them to focus on learning and growth.
St. John Ambulance
The St. John Ambulance BC campaign prioritized awareness and accessibility to AEDs, first aid supplies and naloxone through one-of-a-kind community defibrillator stands. Our partnership assisted with the promotion, acquisition, and visibility of these stands for when cardiac arrest or overdose happened in our community.
Fraser Street Banners
Helping fund the Fraser Street Banner project meant reviving the rich history of banners along Fraser Street, from 33rd Ave to 17th Ave. Funding went towards supplies, artists and community application fees to bring back what was once a beloved staple among the Mountain View neighbourhood.
